“Yovani texted when he was ten minutes away, and the gate was closed behind him before I had walked out. Having lessons at home was easy.”

Before your first visit
Four things to have ready
A gate and a fence
The fence and gate around your pool are yours to keep, as your city and county ask. The gate stays closed behind us.
A shady spot
A patch of shade on the deck, for the swimmer between turns and for the adult watching.
An adult on the deck
A parent or another grown-up stays at the pool for the whole lesson, where the swimmer can see them.
A towel
A big towel on a chair. Swim shirts are welcome, and goggles if your swimmer likes them.
How to start
- 01
Step 1: Get in touch
Call, text or send the form. Yovani or Angelita answers within one working day and asks for your town, your swimmer's age and a day that suits you.
- 02
Step 2: A first visit at your pool
An instructor comes to your pool for a short visit in the water. They see how your swimmer moves and where to start, and you see how a lesson goes.
- 03
Step 3: Register
Choose a day and a time and register on our enrollment page. We ask what we need privately there, never on this site.
- 04
Step 4: The first lesson
The instructor arrives a few minutes early, closes the gate behind them and starts in the shallow end, with you on the deck.
A lesson
Short lessons, with an instructor in the water
A lesson is thirty minutes in your pool. The instructor is in the water beside your swimmer and works on one thing at a time: getting comfortable, floating, kicking, breathing, then strokes.
You watch from the deck. A swimmer moves up a level when the instructor sees the skills, and at their own pace.
Thirty minutes in the water
A session is six lessons
Taught in English and Spanish

What families say
“Angelita spoke English with my son in the water and Spanish with my mother on the patio. Everyone knew what was going on.”
“Sydnee kept the same routine at every lesson: the wall, the bubbles, the kicks. My daughter always knew what came next.”

Questions families ask first
Where do you teach?
In family backyard pools across Lee County, from Cape Coral and Pine Island to Fort Myers Beach, Estero and Bonita Springs, and east to Lehigh Acres.
What does the family provide?
A pool with a fence and a gate that closes, a shady spot, an adult on the deck for the whole lesson and a towel.
How long is a lesson, and what is a session?
A lesson is thirty minutes. A session is six lessons, booked over a few weeks.
Who is in the water with my child?
An instructor, beside your swimmer for the whole lesson.
What happens when there is thunder?
At the first thunder everyone leaves the water and we wait for it to pass. A lesson cut short is made up within the session.
Do you teach in Spanish?
Yes. Yovani and Angelita teach in English and Spanish. Tell us which you prefer when you get in touch.
