First visit
A short visit in your pool
An instructor comes to your pool for a short visit in the water, so your swimmer meets them in a place they know. They see how your swimmer is in the water, tell you which level to start in and talk through the days and times that suit your week.
You are on the deck. Tell the instructor anything that helps us teach your swimmer.

How your swimmer walks in, whether they like the face wet and what they do at the wall.
Floating and kicking
Whether they float with the instructor's hands close, and how they kick from the wall.
Where lessons begin
Your swimmer starts in the level that fits what they can do, and moves at their own pace from there.
