Safety routines

  • The gate and the deck

The gate closes behind us when we arrive and when we leave. Walking feet on the deck, every time.

  • In the water

An instructor is in the water beside every swimmer. The younger levels hold hands or a kickboard, and every level practices getting to the wall.

  • Adults at the pool

An adult stays on the deck for the whole lesson. Lessons are no substitute for adult supervision, at your pool or any other.

  • Thunder and weather

At the first thunder everyone leaves the water and we wait for it to pass. A lesson cut short is made up within the session.

  • When a swimmer is unwell

Please keep a swimmer home with a fever or a stomach bug. We make up the lesson within the session.

  • Telling us things

Tell us at the first visit anything we should know. We ask privately once you register, never on the website form.
